“ This place went from a small bottle shop to a fancy taproom and its great. Tons of good stuff an tap and a well stocked bottle shop plus hispterish food menu. A great place to be. There is even a small terrace outside. I had some fresh Alvarado Street goodness and it was worth the trip just for that alone. There was a guy shing on the the sidewalk across the street, but hey, its San Francisco, what can you do. ”

“ What an awesome beer store! This place has a great selection of both local and outofstate brews. I was surprised at first to see that it had a bar with beer on tap, because I thought it was only a bottle shop. The bar also allows you and encourages you to buy bottles and open them to enjoy them in there, which is a big plus!. Dimly lit, chill atmosphere to enjoy a couple of beers and have fun. Will definitely come back to see what I can find! ”

“ Extensive selection on tap. Tried an Everybodys Juicin from Burgeon Brewing. There were many other that I wanted to try. But will have to wait for next time. Since they moved to this new space, they opened up a kitchen with excellent food. Ordered the onion rings which had salt and vinegar seasoning, gnocchi, and brussel sprouts. ”

“ Awesome selections of draft beers to drink with store in back! Also, the city beer store burger is an excellent choice. I tried it with a side of tator tots and enjoyed the meal. The burger is small, however, its two patties with american cheese make it very fulfilling. Very, very tasty! Tip Visit during lunch time for small to no crowd at all! ”

“ First visit to famous City Beer store. I first was introduced by them during the pandemic when they mailed out blind tasting box of TIPAs which was a lot of fun. The store has a nice rotating selection of quality crafts. And the beer fridge is chock full of cans for take away or drink onsite. The beer tenders are nice and knowledgeable. No food so bring your own. ”
